The health and safety of our clients and team continues to be our priority. As a responsible business we wish to do everything we can to try to help curb the spread of virus, so we are asking those of you that want to take part in the NHS track & trace system to download the NHS app so that you can scan our QR code when attending your appointment.

We continue to do everything we can to keep our guests and staff as safe as we can and want to ensure you can relax at your appointment, confident in the health and safety levels we will provide you. Here are the safety measures we will be implementing as well as what to expect:

Please follow these guidelines to keep both yourself and our staff safe during your visit.

BOOKINGS

It's no secret that an entire nation will be needing their hair done after the closure. We will also need to be responsible for social distancing so we can't allow overcrowding in the salon.

  • Clients may only attend the salon on an appointment basis to ensure salon numbers are correctly managed

  • We won’t be answering the door during appointments- so please book online or by phone or text

BEFORE YOUR
APPOINTMENT

  • If you are sick, please stay home.

  • If you are at higher risk for severe illness, you should avoid visiting us for an appointment

  • You may be asked a series of screening questions before your appointment can take place- please fill in the consent form if prompted via the booking system.

When Attending Your Appointment

  • If you want to avoid busier spaces and don’t want to cross paths with other people too much, you can wait outside the building or in your car if you prefer until your scheduled reservation time when we can notify you via the booking app or by text that we are ready for you to come into the salon.

  • There will no longer be a seating area in the salon as we need to limit the number of people in our space.

  • You may not bring a guest with you into the salon during your appointment. (This doesn't apply to children with an appointment- a parent is welcome but we can only accommodate one child with one adult)

  • Please limit the amount of personal non-essential items you bring with you into the salon. (ie: large handbags, magazines, books, etc...)

  • Prior to entering the salon, we ask you to stop at the door. Please follow the clear visual aids and wait outside the shop until we come to the door to let you in.

  • Practice social distancing and be conscious of others exiting as you wait to enter.

Upon Entry

  • We may do a quick temperature check.

  • If you aren't already wearing one, you may be required to wear a mask to enter the salon and during your entire reservation, to the extent possible. (If you do not have a mask, we can provide you one, (£1.00 while supplies last).

  • You’ll be required to wash your hands prior to your service.

  • Avoid touching your face... eyes, nose, and mouth. This includes NOT touching your mask!

  • Transactions will be processed contactless where possible but we will still be able to accept cash payments.

Precautions we will be taking

  • For your safety and ours, we will stay home if unwell!

  • We will be wearing a mask and other personal protective equipment during your appointment. These items will be disposed of or sanitised between each appointment.

  • We will offer ‘check out in the chair’ for clients to pay, purchase home hair care products and book further appointments.

  • Magazines have been removed from the salon.

  • Every client will have a freshly laundered gown or disposable gown alongside our Eco friendly single use disposable towels.

  • Our workstations, chairs, tools, and equipment will be sanitised and treated with medical-grade disinfectant after each guest.

  • Magazines have been removed from the salon.

  • We will be washing our hands multiple times during your service. You are welcome to wash your hands as much as you would like as well.

  • We will use the disposable and biodegradable towels as before and will now use disposable gowns.

  • All team members will have non-contact temperature checks at the start of each day.

  • No dry cuts will take place at this time so please attend your appointment with pre-washed hair where possible or you can have your hair washed at your appointment.

  • We have completed advanced certification in disinfection and sanitation procedures during our time away, to ensure our space is safe and ready for you.

We hope this goes some way to reassuring you when considering booking your appointment. If you have any questions or simply fancy a chat, we'd love to hear from you!
